Qualifications or Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one promptly
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged children strongly preferred
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication delays or disorders
- Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans for students from kindergarten to 5th grade
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress toward IEP goals
- Consult with classroom teachers to support students’ academic and social success
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, maintaining compliance with all documentation requirements
- Communicate regularly with parents and educators to provide updates, strategies, and resources
- Maintain accurate and timely records as required by district and regulatory agencies
