Qualifications or Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one promptly
  • Previous experience working with elementary-aged children strongly preferred
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication delays or disorders
  • Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff
  • Excellent organizational and documentation abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans for students from kindergarten to 5th grade
  • Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress toward IEP goals
  • Consult with classroom teachers to support students’ academic and social success
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, maintaining compliance with all documentation requirements
  • Communicate regularly with parents and educators to provide updates, strategies, and resources
  • Maintain accurate and timely records as required by district and regulatory agencies
