Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) certification
- Previous experience working in school settings, preferably with both elementary and high school students
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy sessions to diverse needs and ages
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and individualized therapy for students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with school guidelines
- Coordinate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student achievement
- Provide consultation and resources to school staff to maximize student outcomes
