Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for leave coverage in a vibrant, collaborative school environment. This full-time role runs from September 8, 2026, to October 30, 2026, with the potential to extend through December, giving you the chance to make a significant impact throughout the fall semester.
You’ll work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, for a total of 32.5 hours each week. The caseload includes approximately 40 therapy sessions per week, with each session lasting 30 minutes, focused on elementary-aged learners.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure and ASHA CCCs (or eligibility)
- Experience or strong interest in school-based SLP services
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement IEPs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Previous experience with elementary students preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy to students in individual and small group settings
- Conduct assessments and write progress reports for students
- Develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and related service team members
- Maintain detailed documentation, session notes, and data tracking
- Support positive student outcomes and participate in school-wide initiatives
