Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
  • Proficiency working with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students onsite in accordance with IEP goals
  • Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for students with various speech, language, and communication needs
  • Implement AAC supports and training for students who require assistive communication
  • Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate actively in IEP meetings
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to encourage student growth and optimize strategies across school settings
  • Provide guidance and support for classroom staff to integrate communication interventions
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations as well as district policies
