Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Orland Park, IL

Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant working with students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade! This full-time contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year, supporting learners with a variety of speech and language needs. The school environment offers a collaborative setting where you will work with a range of mixed severity cases, helping students achieve communicative success.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in SLPA program (as applicable)
• Current SLP-CCC or SLPA license in Illinois, or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF) considered
• Experience working with PK-8 students preferred, but new graduates and CFs are welcome to apply
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, teachers, and caregivers
• Ability to adapt therapy for students with a range of abilities and backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop intervention plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Deliver direct therapy services individually and in small groups
• Work collaboratively with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals in the classroom
• Document student progress and prepare required reports in a timely manner
• Support families and teachers in understanding and implementing therapy recommendations
• Maintain compliance with IEPs and all state/federal regulations
