Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Illinois SLP license
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) required
  • Experience or comfort working with students ages 3-21, based on school assignments
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative approach
  • Ability to work onsite throughout the assignment, Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Provide one-on-one and group speech-language therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals
  • Maintain up-to-date records, progress notes, and required documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment
