In this contract position, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to deliver speech and language services across a diverse student population. You’ll work full-time, 37.5 hours each week, supporting learners from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility in Illinois
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to provide assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and support students with a range of communication needs
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to K-12 students in group and individual settings
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to establish student needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster student success
- Document progress and maintain records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Contribute expertise during IEP meetings and professional development sessions
