Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Illinois SLP License and ASHA CCC (Clinical Certificate of Competence) preferred; Clinical Fellows may be considered
- Prior experience delivering SLP services within a K-8 educational environment
- Strong understanding of IEP process, collaboration, and documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on-site for 32 hours per week, with a flexible 3-4 day/week schedule (no virtual service option)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services primarily to students in upper elementary and middle school
- Assess and identify students’ speech/language needs, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success
- Maintain thorough records and complete required documentation for student files and IEP meetings
- Participate in team meetings, consultations, and ongoing staff training as needed
