Qualifications and Desired Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs are welcome to apply
- Prior experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organization abilities
- Adept at collaborating in multidisciplinary settings and developing tailored IEPs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans aligned with each student’s needs
- Work with students individually and in group settings to improve communication skills
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations and progress updates
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and administrators to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate records and compliance with documentation and reporting requirements
