Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid SLP license (or eligibility) for Maine
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
What You’ll Do:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in a school-based caseload
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educators and families
- Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions to a diverse range of students
- Track student progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide consultation and support to teachers and parents regarding strategies and best practices
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
