This position offers an opportunity to work full-time as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) within an elementary school setting in Oroville, CA. You will be responsible for supporting a caseload of approximately 40-45 students ranging from transitional kindergarten through fifth grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and assessments for students.
- Develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
- Provide consultative services to classroom staff to support communication development.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and certification.
- Experience working with children in elementary school settings.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload of 40-45 students effectively.
Contract Details:
- Full-time position.
- Contract length: 160-170 days.
- Dedicated to one elementary school site.
- Competitive pay rate of $60-$70 per hour.
