This full-time contract position is perfect for professionals passionate about supporting students' communication development from transitional kindergarten through fifth grade. With a well-managed caseload of approximately 40-45 students at a single site, you’ll have the chance to build strong connections and witness each child’s progress across the school year.

This assignment offers the chance to work within a supportive educational team over a 160-170 day contract. Compensation for this rewarding opportunity ranges from $60 to $70 per hour, reflecting both your dedication and expertise.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in an elementary school setting preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Passionate about fostering growth and inclusion for a diverse student population

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
  • Deliver therapy services aligned with students’ IEP goals
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation required by the school and regulatory agencies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on speech and language development
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology
