Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Oroville, CA

Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary students in a dynamic school environment. You'll work with approximately 40-45 students in grades TK-5 over the course of a 160-170 day contract, building strong relationships and crafting individualized interventions that nurture communication skills and academic success.

What we’re seeking:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
• Previous school-based experience or familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and collaboration with educators and families
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a diverse caseload

Key responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized therapy plans for students in need of speech and language services
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy interventions to support communication and academic achievement
• Draft, implement, and monitor IEPs, participating in meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Provide training and resources to educators and families to foster successful carryover of speech-language targets
