Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active state licensure and ASHA certification
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and those with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in educational environments, is valued but not required
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and staff
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students, targeting communication, articulation, language, fluency, and social competencies based on individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Conduct student assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain documentation compliant with school and state standards
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to help create supportive classroom environments and optimize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer expertise on speech and language development
