Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; strong CFY candidates will be considered
- Experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations is a plus
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student needs
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and screenings for students with speech and language concerns
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and set appropriate therapy goals
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
