Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current SLP license valid in the state of Iowa (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
• Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is a plus
• Exceptional communication, organization, and record-keeping skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for referred students
• Develop and implement individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy services to students with a variety of communication needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative student support planning
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and progress reports
• Offer guidance and training to staff and families regarding communication strategies
