Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; strong CFY candidates will be considered
  • Experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations is a plus
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student needs
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and screenings for students with speech and language concerns
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and set appropriate therapy goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students, both individually and in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
