Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent discipline
- Active state licensure or eligibility as an SLP or SLPA in Minnesota
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong consideration for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly desirable
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms or willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and students
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Enthusiasm for working with a diverse student population
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments and direct speech/language therapy services to students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to best support students’ IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records of progress, treatment plans, and evaluations
- Adapt therapy methods to individual student needs, utilizing in-person and/or teletherapy sessions
- Offer guidance, training, and support to staff and families as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for student success
- Foster an encouraging and inclusive therapy environment
