Ideal qualifications and experience include:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current SLP-CCC certification required
- Previous experience in a school-based SLP role
- Knowledge of special education processes and IEP documentation
- Effective communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
- MN state licensure (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
As a vital member of the educational team, responsibilities will include:
- Assessing and diagnosing communication disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Conducting group and individual therapy sessions
