Step into a meaningful role supporting early learners as a speech-language pathologist for a dedicated 12-week assignment. This contract position focuses on early childhood special education (ECSE) for children aged 3–5. The assignment runs from September 7, 2026, through November 30, 2026, and is based in Blaine, MN. You'll work three days a week (Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 22.5 hours weekly), making a profound difference during an important period of growth and communication development.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota SLP license (must be submitted with resume for consideration)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with early childhood or preschool-aged students
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with parents, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to a preschool caseload (ages 3–5) in an early childhood special education setting
- Assess speech, language, and communication skills; contribute to evaluation reports and re-evaluations
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on goal development tailored to each child’s needs
- Maintain thorough therapy documentation and progress tracking according to district guidelines
- Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills in classroom and home environments
