Key Experience and Qualifications:
- Hold an active Washington SLP license (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY encouraged)
- Experience in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
- Solid understanding of the entire special education process, including compliance and best practices
- Skill in planning and implementing identification and intervention strategies for diverse needs
- Proficiency in engaging communication, active listening, and professionalism in all interactions
- Ability to maintain a positive, fun, and lighthearted atmosphere while providing effective services
- Background in early learning or working with atypical impairments is a plus
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting screenings, assessments, and individualized therapy sessions
- Collaborating with educational teams on IEP development and progress monitoring
- Consulting with teachers, families, and other service providers
- Participating in meetings and maintaining accurate documentation
