Key Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an SLP
- Preferred experience in school-based settings, but strong clinical backgrounds also considered
- Familiarity with IEP processes and special education documentation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt therapy plans for diverse elementary and/or secondary student populations
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services following students’ individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, write evaluation reports, and document student progress
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support each student’s needs
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and participate in IEP development and reviews
- Utilize evidence-based interventions tailored to the educational environment
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all district, state, and federal guidelines
