Make an impact in students’ lives as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist supporting a local school for the 26-27 school year. This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide crucial speech and language interventions in person, working directly with children who benefit from your expertise.

Key Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure as an SLP
  • Preferred experience in school-based settings, but strong clinical backgrounds also considered
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and special education documentation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to adapt therapy plans for diverse elementary and/or secondary student populations

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services following students’ individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, write evaluation reports, and document student progress
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support each student’s needs
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and participate in IEP development and reviews
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions tailored to the educational environment
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all district, state, and federal guidelines
