Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) in Iowa as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates are welcome to apply
• Previous experience in school-based settings is highly valued
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessments, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to create and deliver effective intervention plans
• Document student progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Offer consultative support to educational staff regarding speech/language needs
• Educate students and staff on strategies to improve communication skills within the classroom
