Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current SLP licensure in Kansas (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or a strong interest in pursuing a Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
  • Experience or enthusiasm for working in school settings
  • Solid understanding of IEP process and compliance
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to students with diverse needs
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings, documenting progress and communicating regularly with families and staff
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy that supports both academic achievement and social-emotional development
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and other support staff
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive school climate
