What you’ll need to be successful:
- Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligible Clinical Fellows (CFY)
- Prior experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments
Key responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments for students PreK-12
- Design and deliver evidence-based therapy to address articulation, language, fluency, and social-pragmatic needs
- Develop and monitor progress on IEP goals in collaboration with educators and parents
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes as required by school policies
- Participate in team meetings, consultations, and ongoing professional development
- Serve as an approachable resource for staff and parents, offering strategies and support
