Qualifications & Experience:
- Current FL State License for Speech Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) from ASHA
- Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a closely related field
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and track progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust IEPs
- Document services, progress, and outcomes according to state and district policies
- Facilitate communication workshops and supports for educators and campus staff
- Adapt therapeutic strategies based on individual student goals
