Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting middle school students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time, on-site role runs through late May and provides vital services to a single campus serving grades 6–8. As part of the multidisciplinary educational team, you'll evaluate, diagnose, and implement therapy for a caseload of about 60–65 students, collaborating closely with educators and parents to foster student growth and communication skills.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active FL State SLP license
  • CCC certification through ASHA
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or closely related field
  • Recent school-based experience working with middle school populations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complete assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address diverse speech/language disorders
  • Provide direct and consultative speech therapy sessions, tailored to IEP goals
  • Maintain thorough progress documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student achievement
  • Meet all district credentialing, background check, and fingerprinting requirements by the start date

This is a contract opportunity offering full-time hours, with an immediate start and the chance to serve a single campus.
