Apply NowStep into a dynamic, full-time contract role supporting elementary-aged students from Pre-K through 5th grade for the upcoming academic year, starting August 14, 2025, and continuing through May 22, 2026. Located in a welcoming community near Owasso, OK, this position centers around delivering speech and language therapy to a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students, all within a single school building. You’ll also benefit from working alongside a dedicated part-time SLPA, allowing for collaboration and shared service delivery.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current CCC-SLP or eligibility for CFY
- Active or eligible state licensure as an SLP
- Experience in school settings preferred, with a strong foundation in child language development
- Familiarity with pediatric speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Comfortable collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, parents, and educators
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
- Deliver direct therapy services to assigned caseload, tracking and reporting progress regularly
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for each student
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Mentor and provide guidance to the part-time SLPA, ensuring coordinated care
- Collaborate actively with teachers and support staff to integrate strategies into the classroom setting
