Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students from Pre-K through 5th grade in a vibrant school community near Owasso, OK. This full-time school-based role spans the 2025-2026 academic year, beginning August 14, 2025, and concluding May 22, 2026. You'll work collaboratively with a small, dedicated team—including a part-time SLPA—to provide high-quality speech/language services to approximately 50 students on a single campus.
Key qualifications and desirable experience:
- Hold or eligible for ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or ready to complete a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Licensed or able to obtain Oklahoma SLP licensure
- Background in school-based or pediatric speech-language pathology valued
- Proven ability to design and implement evidence-based therapy plans
- Strong collaboration skills, with capacity to engage parents, teachers, and school staff
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Responsibilities of this role include:
- Serving students with diverse communication needs across a full elementary caseload
- Conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and delivering individualized and group therapy
- Maintaining documentation and participating in eligibility, IEP, and parent meetings
- Coaching and collaborating with the on-site SLPA to maximize service delivery
- Providing consultative support to teachers and families
- Promoting communication and language development in inclusive and pullout settings
