Responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct assessment, diagnosis, and intervention to students in early childhood and elementary grades
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to tailor communication strategies for each child
  • Implementing both in-person and teletherapy sessions, adapting to student needs and program requirements
  • Collecting data and monitoring progress to ensure continuous improvement in each child's communicative abilities
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing professionally to student planning and support
  • Offering mentorship to Clinical Fellows when applicable, fostering professional development within the team

Desired experience and qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure (SLP-CCC, CFY, or SLPA) and eligibility to work in a school or healthcare setting
  • Previous experience with pediatric populations, preferably within a school environment
  • Familiarity with early childhood development, school-based caseloads, and teletherapy platforms
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Compassion for working with young children and families to achieve daily successes
