Desired Background and Experience:
- Current SLP-CCC certification required
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
- Familiarity with educational assessments, IEP development, and implementation
- Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Adaptable, collaborative, and student-centered approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech/language screenings and comprehensive evaluations for students across grade levels
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services onsite; virtual placements possible as the start date approaches
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Document progress and maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Serve as a resource by participating in multidisciplinary meetings and parent conferences
