School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Owings Mills, Maryland

This full-time, contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist covering a maternity leave. Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
• Previous experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged children in a school environment
• Strong knowledge of evaluation tools, treatment methods, and IEP documentation
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose students with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
• Consult regularly with classroom teachers, parents, and other support personnel
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to developing collaborative educational plans
