Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Owings Mills, MD

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
• Previous experience with pediatric or elementary school populations preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and school-based therapy documentation
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments for elementary-aged students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, in collaboration with educators and families
• Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services, both individually and in small groups
• Maintain thorough records and progress reports aligned with school guidelines and legal requirements
• Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise in speech-language development
• Support student growth through engaging, evidence-based interventions and creative therapy activities
