Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active state SLP license (or eligibility for MD licensure)
• Previous experience in an educational or school-based setting strongly preferred
• Solid communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, students, and families
• Compassion, patience, and enthusiasm for helping high school students achieve their communication goals

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in high school students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
• Document progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with school and legal requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth and participation in the classroom
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' academic plans
• Adapt intervention strategies to best serve students with unique learning profiles
