This assignment spans from January 25, 2027, through April 30, 2027, with a consistent 40-hour workweek. You'll focus on a Birth-Three caseload, delivering crucial speech and language interventions to help young children meet key developmental milestones.

Preferred skills and background:

  • Experience with school-based speech-language pathology services
  • SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and experience or strong interest in pediatrics
  • Familiarity with early intervention and Birth-Three populations
  • Collaborative abilities to work with families, teachers, and other service providers
  • Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy is required
  • Valid Michigan state license

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough speech and language assessments for infants and toddlers
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on student needs
  • Documenting progress, services provided, and updating plans as appropriate
  • Consulting with caregivers and education teams to support speech and language development in varied environments
  • Maintaining accurate records in accordance with school and state regulations
