K-5 Licensed School Speech Language Pathologist - Owosso, Michigan

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• Experience working with students in grades K-5, 6-8, and/or 9-12
• Strong understanding of diverse communication needs, including speech, language, and feeding/swallowing disorders
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to provide comprehensive services
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language challenges
• Deliver direct therapy services through individual and group sessions, both in-person and potentially via teletherapy
• Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust interventions as needed
• Work closely with educational staff to support classroom learning and promote an inclusive environment
• Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to team discussions, and provide recommendations for modifications or accommodations
• Educate families and staff regarding strategies to reinforce progress outside of therapy sessions
