Key Qualifications:
- Active and current Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
- Experience or strong interest in working with K–12 students, including elementary, middle, and high school
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and provide intervention for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Effective communicator who thrives in multidisciplinary teams within an educational setting
- Organized, compassionate, and adaptable to the diverse needs of students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions one-on-one and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to track progress and foster student success
- Provide resources and guidance to support families and staff in understanding communication challenges
- Maintain accurate records and comply with documentation requirements for all services provided
