Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or current enrollment in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Familiarity with pediatric populations, ideally within school-based settings.
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders.
- Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in group formats, as outlined in IEPs (Individualized Education Plans).
- Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and staff to support student success.
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams.
