Exciting opportunity available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding CCC and school-based credentials! This contract position is ideal for clinicians interested in part-time hours and meaningful work with elementary students for the 2026-2027 academic year.
This role supports two elementary buildings by providing overflow services where specialized attention is needed. You will collaborate with existing full-time and part-time SLPs, ensuring comprehensive speech and language support for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students under IEPs and 504 Plans
- Conduct assessments, create and update individualized treatment plans, and document progress
- Work alongside teachers, support staff, and families to promote communication skills in academic settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional input for student plans
- Assist in caseload management and provide supplemental coverage for existing SLPs, ensuring continuity of services across both sites
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Experience working in a school-based setting providing therapy to elementary-aged students
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to adapt in dynamic educational environments
Position Details:
- Part-time (3 days per week)
- Typical school hours: 8:44 AM to 3:40 PM
- Academic year contract from August 18, 2026, to June 11, 2027
- Provide services in two schools as part of a collaborative SLP team
