Step into a rewarding opportunity serving students as a Speech Language Pathologist in North Carolina. This full-time contract position begins immediately and runs through June 4, 2027, offering Monday through Friday hours (37.5 hours per week). The caseload is determined based on individual experience, providing a supportive environment tailored to your strengths and expertise.

This role requires working closely with school professionals, servicing a diverse student body, and utilizing assistive listening technology to enhance communication outcomes. Supervisory skills are highly valued, as the position may involve directing Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs). An active North Carolina SLP license is a must, and applicants must have relevant school-based SLP experience—those certified in Voco SLP are not eligible.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active North Carolina SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
  • Prior experience working in K-12 school settings
  • Familiarity and proficiency with assistive listening technology
  • Willingness to supervise SLPAs if needed
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language services to students across various grade levels
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student needs
  • Provide guidance and supervision for SLPAs when applicable
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state requirements
