Speech Language Pathologist in Oxford, NC

This full-time contract opportunity offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 37.5 hours per week. The specific caseload will be thoughtfully assigned based on your experience, giving you the chance to work with students whose needs best align with your skillset.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Current, active North Carolina Speech Language Pathology license (required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Prior experience providing SLP services within school settings
• Strong background and comfort with assistive listening technology
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to supporting student success through comprehensive speech and language interventions

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students, both individually and in groups
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
• Utilize and incorporate assistive listening technologies to enhance student communication
• Provide consultation and support for teachers and parents to foster language development
• Maintain detailed documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
