Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Oxnard, CA

We’re seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, contract role focused on meeting the backlog of compensatory and ongoing therapy needs. If your expertise lies in school-based, healthcare, pediatric, or teletherapy settings, you’ll make a significant impact supporting students who need your skills most.

Key qualifications and preferred experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or current SLPA licensure
• Valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status welcome
• Experience in school, pediatric, or healthcare environments with IEP familiarity
• Expertise with compensatory services and a passion for closing service gaps
• Comfortable delivering in-person and/or teletherapy sessions
• Strong communication, collaboration, and case management skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech/language assessments and provide individualized therapy to K-12 students
• Deliver compensatory services to address service delays, tracking progress diligently
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with legal and district requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise to student planning
• Adapt interventions to in-person or teletherapy delivery as required
