Qualifications:

  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience or strong interest in elementary-aged populations
  • Understanding of school-based IEP process and documentation
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to cultural sensitivity and inclusive practices

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to elementary students
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
  • Deliver therapy using diverse modalities, adapting approaches to meet each learner’s needs
  • Monitor progress, adjust intervention strategies, and advocate for students’ communication goals
  • Participate in planning and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
