Ignite positive change as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist supporting K-12 students in a vibrant Maryland school environment. In this impactful contract position, you’ll empower children and adolescents to overcome communication challenges and thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for diverse K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized IEP goals tailored to each learner’s needs
  • Deliver direct and consultative SLP therapy services within the school setting
  • Collaborate actively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary IEP team members to foster student growth
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance with school and state guidelines

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathology License
  • Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Certification, or willingness/eligibility to obtain
  • School-based or pediatric experience is a plus, but enthusiastic candidates seeking to work in an educational setting are also welcome
  • Excellent communication skills, organization, and ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
