Ideal candidates will have:
- Current or pending state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Prior experience or strong interest in working with high school students in a school-based setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Exceptional organizational skills and adaptability
- Dedication to evidence-based, student-centered practice
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in a high school caseload
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy services tailored to student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to track progress and adjust interventions
- Provide direct therapy, consultation, and support for students, fostering engagement and success
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff collaboration, and ongoing professional development
