Ideal candidates will have:

  • Current or pending state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Prior experience or strong interest in working with high school students in a school-based setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Exceptional organizational skills and adaptability
  • Dedication to evidence-based, student-centered practice

Key responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in a high school caseload
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy services tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to track progress and adjust interventions
  • Provide direct therapy, consultation, and support for students, fostering engagement and success
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff collaboration, and ongoing professional development
