Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current South Carolina SLP license or eligibility (CFY and CCC candidates encouraged to apply)
  • Experience working in school settings preferred, but open to new graduates
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students according to IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to monitor progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
  • Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, offering guidance and input on student needs
  • Educate staff and families about speech and language strategies
