As a full-time team member over the 186-day academic calendar, you will collaborate with educators and families to create supportive learning experiences for students throughout the school district. Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- California SLP License or eligibility to obtain prior to the start date
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification, or CFY status for new graduates
- Passion and commitment to working with K-12 students
- Effective communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Positive attitude and adaptability in a dynamic school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver therapy to students in the district
- Work closely with general and special education staff, as well as families, to ensure student progress
- Maintain timely and accurate student records and documentation
- Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and ongoing professional development
- Adapt services to meet the unique needs of each student and school community
