Key Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience in a school setting preferred, but open to talented clinicians from other environments
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to therapy
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students with a variety of communication needs
- Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor progress
- Design and deliver engaging therapeutic activities to foster student growth
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support each child’s academic success
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and legal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the broader educational community
