In this rewarding contract role, your expertise will help learners discover their voices and reach vital communication milestones. You’ll collaborate with passionate education professionals and deliver speech-language services to grades K-12, ensuring every student receives individualized support.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Experience with students in grades K-12, including elementary, middle, and high school populations
  • Knowledge of assessments, IEP processes, and evidence-based intervention strategies
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and family members

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with communication disorders
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student's unique needs
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary
  • Consult with classroom teachers and other staff to support generalization of skills
  • Maintain timely records and participate in IEP meetings
  • Educate families and staff on strategies to enhance communication in school and at home
