Make a real impact supporting young learners as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist working with K-2 students in an engaging educational environment. You’ll manage a manageable caseload of just nine students, working onsite and collaborating with a supportive educational team. What we’re looking for:
- Current Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL). Please provide a screenshot of each.
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) is preferred; strong Clinical Fellows are also welcome.
- Previous experience with school-aged children or a solid clinical fellowship background.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, individualized services for young children with diverse speech and language needs.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
Your key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a small caseload of K-2 students.
- Assess and document student progress, maintaining clear and thorough records.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members to develop and implement IEPs.
- Attend necessary team and orientation meetings (New Hire Orientation scheduled August 12-14).
- Communicate effectively with school staff and families to support student success.
