Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Palatine, IL

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist providing critical support to K-12 students district wide. Work closely with learners across all grade levels, empowering them through direct and indirect speech-language services. This position offers part-time hours and guarantees a consistent schedule, so you’ll make a difference without sacrificing your flexibility.

As a specialist fluent in both Spanish and English, you’ll be an essential resource for diverse school communities, delivering impactful speech-language interventions and collaborating with educators, families, and support teams. There are no additional district responsibilities outside of your contracted hours—ensuring your focus stays on exceptional student care.

Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and credentials
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English required
• Eligible to supervise or complete Clinical Fellowship Year (CCC or CFY)
• Previous experience supporting K-12 students in school settings
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide both direct and indirect speech-language pathology services to students in a school-based environment
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams for student success
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district requirements
• Support students from diverse backgrounds, addressing their unique language needs
