Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license in the state of Florida (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Recent experience working with pediatric or school-age populations preferred
  • Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and data-driven therapy
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy for various grade levels—elementary, middle, and high school
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly desirable (CFs may be considered)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group speech-language therapy services to students
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educational staff and families
  • Track student progress through data collection and regular reporting
  • Contribute expertise during IEP meetings and team consultations
  • Educate teachers and parents on strategies to support language development
  • Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and case management tasks
