Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license in the state of Florida (or eligibility to obtain)
- Recent experience working with pediatric or school-age populations preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and data-driven therapy
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy for various grade levels—elementary, middle, and high school
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly desirable (CFs may be considered)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group speech-language therapy services to students
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educational staff and families
- Track student progress through data collection and regular reporting
- Contribute expertise during IEP meetings and team consultations
- Educate teachers and parents on strategies to support language development
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and case management tasks
