Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity serving K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on Florida’s southeast coast. This full-year position (August through early June) involves supporting students across one or two educational sites, depending on assignment, with the primary focus on covering maternity leave needs and collaborating with dedicated SLP teams and support staff.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Active and valid SLP state license
- Recent school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Experience with diverse caseloads including middle/high schoolers, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Emotional/Behavioral Disorders (EBD), and intellectual/developmental units (InD)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Fingerprinting required (may be able to use existing DOH prints)
Role Highlights:
- Full-time, on-site positions (35 hours/week) across the school year
- Serve at one or two campuses, with specific caseload assignments including K-8 and 9-12 settings
