This contract opportunity is open for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to work exclusively on-site with a supportive and diverse PK-8 resource therapy caseload. You’ll have the unique opportunity to work independently as the only SLP in the building, allowing you to set the standard for high-quality speech therapy services while building strong, lasting relationships with staff and families.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Current and active Florida SLP licensure (CCC required)
- Experience or strong interest in serving PreK through 8th grade students
- Familiarity with resource therapy models in a school setting
- Ability to work two full days a week, 7 hours each day, up to 14 hours per week
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Comfort working independently and building partnerships with educational team members
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct speech and language therapy services to students from PK through 8th grade
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Conducting assessments, writing reports, and attending eligibility/IEP meetings as needed
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff to maximize student success
- Completing required documentation and maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring timely completion of district fingerprinting/credentialing requirements
