School Speech Language Pathologist - Palm City, Florida

Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an engaging school-based contract opportunity near Palm City, FL. This flexible role offers both part-time and full-time options, depending on your availability, with assignments beginning as soon as possible and running through early June 2027.

You'll have the chance to serve at one or more welcoming school sites (Port St. Lucie or Fort Pierce), working alongside talented colleagues or serving as the primary SLP for your campus. Select a schedule that fits your needs: combine two part-time positions for a full-time (35 hours/week) caseload, or opt for 14-21 hours/week if you prefer part-time flexibility.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license
• School-based SLP experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds are encouraged to apply
• Passion for fostering student growth in grades PK-8
• Ability to complete district-required fingerprinting (clearinghouse transfers accepted)
• Willingness to pick up staff badge in-person before starting

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality speech/language therapy to students (grades PK-8, with specific age groups based on site assignment)
• Manage a dynamic, varied caseload and document progress
• Collaborate with educators, families, and a supportive SLP team (in some locations you'll be the only SLP, in others you'll partner with colleagues)
• Contribute to IEP meetings and student support processes
• Deliver resource therapy, direct intervention, and consultation services in alignment with each school's needs
