Speech Language Pathologist in Palm Desert, CA

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students presenting with speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes
• Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions aligned with IEP goals
• Track, monitor, and carefully document student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, families, and other therapy professionals to support student success
• Educate and involve families in strategies to carry over learning and progress
• Participate fully in IEP meetings and contribute your expertise to multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active, state-approved license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• New graduates (CFY) encouraged to apply – supervision available
• Prior experience or strong interest in working with pediatric/school-aged populations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong ability to work independently and as a valued member of a collaborative team
