This full-time contract opportunity centers on a preschool caseload, serving students with a variety of communication needs ranging from mild-moderate to some with more severe challenges. You'll become a valued part of the educational team, collaborating to help young learners reach their full potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology; SLP-CCC required
- Valid Certificate of Clearance (COC)
- California licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Prior experience with CA Medicaid (Paradigm) documentation is a plus
- Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with children, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify student speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to preschool students
- Support students using AAC devices as appropriate
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote communication skills
- Complete Medicaid billing (Paradigm, preferred) and all necessary documentation
