This full-time contract opportunity centers on a preschool caseload, serving students with a variety of communication needs ranging from mild-moderate to some with more severe challenges. You'll become a valued part of the educational team, collaborating to help young learners reach their full potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology; SLP-CCC required
  • Valid Certificate of Clearance (COC)
  • California licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • School-based SLP experience preferred
  • Prior experience with CA Medicaid (Paradigm) documentation is a plus
  • Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with children, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify student speech and language needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to preschool students
  • Support students using AAC devices as appropriate
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote communication skills
  • Complete Medicaid billing (Paradigm, preferred) and all necessary documentation
