Candidates will work closely with learners, including those with Autism, using their expertise to support communication growth and academic success.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license, with CCC or CFY considered
- Previous experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP roles
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs
- Demonstrated comfort and skill working with students on the Autism spectrum
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Preference given to those with teletherapy experience; however, this role is in-person only
- Open to working closely with other professionals, such as SLPA, as needed
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, in-person speech and language therapy to a variety of student caseloads
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other related service providers
- Keep thorough records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Offer education and support to staff and families regarding speech-language development and strategies
- Contribute to a positive school environment, adapting interventions to meet unique student needs
