Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Palmdale, CA

Candidates will work closely with learners, including those with Autism, using their expertise to support communication growth and academic success.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid SLP license, with CCC or CFY considered
• Previous experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP roles
• Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs
• Demonstrated comfort and skill working with students on the Autism spectrum
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Preference given to those with teletherapy experience; however, this role is in-person only
• Open to working closely with other professionals, such as SLPA, as needed

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, in-person speech and language therapy to a variety of student caseloads
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other related service providers
• Keep thorough records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
• Offer education and support to staff and families regarding speech-language development and strategies
• Contribute to a positive school environment, adapting interventions to meet unique student needs
