Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Palmdale, California

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Hold or be eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Eligible for California licensure
• Previous school-based SLP or SLPA experience is preferred
• Skill with AAC device implementation
• Familiarity with IEP processes is a plus, but not required
• Experience in healthcare and pediatric SLP settings, including teletherapy, strengthens your application

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of students’ speech, language, and swallowing abilities
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Use engaging therapy approaches to support language, speech, and communication goals
• Track progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate outcomes to educational teams and families
• Collaborate with teachers, occupational therapists, and other support staff to foster student growth
• Support a diverse caseload, adapting methods to meet the unique needs of each student
