Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Hold or be eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Eligible for California licensure
- Previous school-based SLP or SLPA experience is preferred
- Skill with AAC device implementation
- Familiarity with IEP processes is a plus, but not required
- Experience in healthcare and pediatric SLP settings, including teletherapy, strengthens your application
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of students’ speech, language, and swallowing abilities
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Use engaging therapy approaches to support language, speech, and communication goals
- Track progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate outcomes to educational teams and families
- Collaborate with teachers, occupational therapists, and other support staff to foster student growth
- Support a diverse caseload, adapting methods to meet the unique needs of each student
